When I'm in need of solace
My spirit seeks to find;
The door only I can open
That's hidden in my mind.

It leads me to a paradise,
A place of love and care;
Of butterflies and birds that sing,
Friendly creatures everywhere.

I can sit beneath a citrus tree
Where I eat the fruit of life.
Take a sip of lemon tea;
In this refuge from all strife.

I can smile at laughing children
As they chase the busy bees.
Feel the breeze upon my face;
See the swaying of the trees.

I can watch the flowing fountains;
Sparkling waters, crystal clear.
And view the distant mountains
In freedom from all fear

I can be myself forever,
Do things without a care.
For in my secret garden;
Love is everywhere.

Life a meandering tale

Having gravel, sand and air

To live by all without frowns

Is the recipe to real life

There’s no room for despair

Only hopes do impair

By brooding over the pain

So shrug it off

Here we stand together,
Dressed in our pain,
Covered with scars
From wounds we did not ask for
Or deserve.

So what now?

We can't go back and relive our lives.
We can't take back the innocence we lost
Or make the sadness we felt into happiness.

But we can go on from here,
So let us start.

Stretch out your hand to mine,
Close your eyes
And slowly let the pain slip away.
Let go of the sadness;
It belongs to yesterday,
And let's walk.

The earth is firm beneath our feet.
The sun is warm on our face.
God sees our struggle,
Smiles at our effort,
And sends us strength.

My friends,
we can't stay,
looking back,
Lest we falter.
We must face forward,
Eyes wide open,
And keep on walking.

Hold tight and don't let go;
You aren't walking alone,
And neither am I.

Walking Alone.........

There were times when days just went by,
Lonely winds swept the earth dry,
Raging sun beamed with all its fury,
was walking alone tired and weary,

And then, you walked into my life,
I wondered why would you be so nice,
must be a dream that won't last long,
Never thought that I could be wrong,

Your simple smile and eyes so bright,
couldn't resist you with all my might,
slowly but surely our friendship grew,
you taught me things I never knew,

I achieved things, I thought I never can,
your words gave the healing touch,
whenever life seemed to be just too much,

Struggling and fighting I went on,
knowing its you I could depend on,
And then Suddenly like magic you were gone,
I was left all alone,
all my dreams shattered and torn,


I asked myself,
where did I go wrong,
Things were supposed to be that way I guess,

may you find happiness and joy, god bless,
For I would keep walking alone,
cherishing the sweet moments bygone...

Dreams....

The day seems good until you wake up.

The world seems welcoming until you enter it.

When the morning comes nothing seems good

the moment my eyes open and until they are shut

I feel like sleeping would be better, safer, and more peaceful.

But the moment my eyes are closed

dreams come and take me.

The dream of peace and happiness,

the warmth and love.

It may only last a moment

but it gives me strength

Strength for the day to come

No matter what it be,

a nightmare or a fantasy

It seems better then life.

Friends in my dreams never leave or change

Time never passes to fast or to slow

You are never forgotten or hated

Nothing seems better and you start to feel happy.

Then the sun comes up and your brought back,

back to the truth of the world.

The pain and sadness,

The hate and fear of life

washes over you

and you wish you wouldn't have open your eyes.

You want to fall back into your welcoming sleep

Where nothing goes wrong and you are always loved.

but now........

I dont' have dreams anymore

I have reality

I'm not asking much of this life

soon..

I'll be gone

Let it be.........

Real happiness does not come
from the fulfillment of every desire.

You can chase an endless chain of wishes and desires,
and still manage to be unhappy.

So how ......

and when does happiness come?
It comes, quite simply,
when you allow it.
Though your life may be filled
with challenges and difficulties,
still you can be genuinely happy.

Whether you are close
to reaching your goals,
or far away
or already beyond them,
real happiness is always close at hand.

The world and its culture may convince you
that you need this or that
in order to find happiness.

Yet in truth,
you need nothing other than to let it be.

Instead of waiting
or longing
or searching
for a reason to be happy,
create for yourself a way to be happy.

Something as simple as a smile
can get you started,
and that's something you can do right now.

Let go of the notion that you must grasp for
or struggle
to attain happiness,
and simply let it be.

That can instantly make all the difference in the world

I wish I were a doctor so talented
I could have saved lives of many and
wouldn’t have let anyone die in pain

I wish I were a scientist so intelligent
I would have invented an instrument
to save the world from all calamities

I wish I were an astronaut so daring
I would have definitely found
another earth for survival of mankind

I wish I were a magician so perfect
I would have turned all the sorrows
of the people into joy

I wish I were a judge so just
I would have punished only the guilty
and set free the innocent

But .........
I am just human who makes mistakes
So I should try to be a better human
and let Allah do his work

I know why the caged bird sings................


The free bird leaps
on the back of the win
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.

But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and is tune is heard
on the distant hillfor the caged bird
sings of freedom

The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied

my saviour my lord and my only God
the only hope, the only friend of mine
to thee I cry and ask forgiveness
day and night seeking mercy, praying blessings
in sajdah I humbly keep myself
reading the words of you
a comfort I achieve
unknown and untold are your bounties
bestowed with love and kindness onto me
you are my very true friend
being always there for me in my need
fulfilling my wishes and keeping my heart at ease
thou art my saviour and my partner for life
helping me through the difficulties of life
which I for sure know are tests on me
markings be just and fair by thee a teacher and a guide
to lead me to the straight path of righteousness and goodness
paradise a reward in return I dream to achieve

O Allah ..........
I love you more than anything
no one holds a place in my hearts premise
there isnt room for else where you reside
I have protected the gates of love with your power
and have sealed the doors with good endevours
holding every nook as a light from thee
enlightening my soul and heart with purity
of thee sweet smelling fragrance
my heart holds the scent of Allah
is contionuosly being poured from
the eyes that sees and mouth that speaks
in Allah ...........

Islam is an arabic word root meaning salam which in english means PEACE peace is gained through submitting one's will to the will of Allah almighty the one who submits his will to the will of allah almighty is called a MUSLIM therefore muslim is an arabic word meaning thereby a person who submits his will to the will of Allah in short Muslim is a living PEACE Islam in short is a religion of peace take not samples as the whole see the whole as its suppose to be perceived and believed, reality the greetings in Islam is asalam alikum which in english means peace be upon you the reply to the greeting being walaikum asalam meaning thereby peace be upon you too so every time you greet a muslim say to him asalam alikum (peace be upon you) having the same in return for you (peace be upon you too) spreading the message of peace around the globe praying peace to everyone you greet in reply being prayed peace hence spreading peace through peace Islam is a religion of peace are there any who doubt its a request unto you to read aloud the words of this poem true hope you understand the meaning of islamic greeting too asalam alikum......... to all who read the poem hoping the same in return for me nothing in praise I desire yet peace is all i seek

The Beggar............


I am a beggar at my lord’s door
Repenting tears of quick relief
Sitting patiently I do cry and weep
Glorifying and thanking my lord

I am a beggar at my lord’s door
Pleading my sins be wiped off
Expecting paradise a sincere reward
For deeds righteous done with rightful ease

I am a beggar crying forgiveness at my lord’s door
the day my lord shall open the door
he shall find me at his doorstep
crying weeping and begging forgiveness

I am a beggar at my lord’s door
thanking and patiently waiting for the open door
for I be lucky to have my lord standing tall
and I shall weep away my guilt
holding his rope strong
there is none better than my lord
who responds the distressed’s call
saves his people from drowning
cures the sick and guides the lost

relieving me my pain and sufferings
