Fill me up when I am empty,
Like no one else has done;
Pour warmth into my spirit,
Like rays from summer sun.

Like rain upon the desert,
On a dry and barren land;
You cause my soul to blossom,
With touch from gentle hands.

And like the breeze of springtime,
Gently 'cross my body blows;
Igniting there a flame of fire,
That sets my heart aglow.

You've placed a seed within me,
That has grown into a vine;
Of sheer unbridled passion,
Tendrils curled and intertwined.

Fill me up when I am empty,
Like an overflowing cup;
No one else has ever filled me so,
Yet my Love, you fill me up.

A Friend Unseen ...........

It's strange to have a friend

That you have never hugged

Lightly touched their arm

Or looked into their eyes

But ...

They have touched your soul

Felt their heart 

Been embraced by

The warmth of their being

A friend unseen

Is not a friend untouched

The eyes of the soul will gaze

The heart will embrace

The image will stand tall

But ..

only in dream

are disrupted
and your voice is

There are so many words
Yet there are no words
For when I look into your eyes
No words need to be spoken
And the warmth of your smile
Is a statement in itself

 

And how could I ever try to explain
The trembling in my body
When I touch your face
There are no words to explain an emotion

 

So I open to you my mind
That you might walk
Among my Dreams and Memories

Then...and only then
You might understand my silence

~ Faded Dream ~

She was told dreams are reachable,
give them birth before they die,
labor pains felt through her veins,
ache of her heart, reached beyond

She shed the past, with her dress,
head first, plunged into cool water,
toward an island, butterfly strokes,
where his shadow knelt in the sand

Waves rolled over her bare shoulders,
water lapping against her breasts,
warmth of a breeze kissed her cheek,
her very last one, she began to sink

Her dream faded into the deep,
along with the shadow, she loved,
untouchable dream, meant to be,
her heart knew better, no regrets

Should I hesitate as I speak
Please don't think me preoccupied


For words don't come easily
When one really cares
And too often I evaluate each word
Trying to be anyone
-- but myself


And the fear of rejection
Brings confusion
The confusion brings silence
And my heart prays
That you might hear my silence
-- and understand

~ Is It Possible ? ~

To be angered
But not angry?

To feel hopeless,
But not without hope?

To live alone,
Yet not be lonely?

To be down and out
Though complete and fulfilled?

To love someone,
But hate yourself?

Is it possible?

~ Reality ~

Reality ........


How CAN a single soul know what reality is?
For God only knows what the answers become
And the final say in all situations is His!


If you say you are in reality, what do you mean?
In the past, the present, or the future,
It does not exist during any of those times,
Reality is not past, present, future, or in between.


Moment to moment reality will change
And only during one given moment can reality be.
Reality becomes something new and restructured
That with each passing second you will see.


All that you have is this moment in time
And to be realistic is to understand
That the only thing real in this life right now
Is that God holds your soul in His Hand.

The sound of silence.........

The sound of silence echoed in my ears
Rescuing me from the plethora of darkness,
The sound of silence took away my fears
Of losing anything as I was left with starkness.

The sound of silence chilled my spine
With thousand volts of solitude,
The sound of silence mixed with mine
And became the best sound of fortitude!

The sound of silence gave me might
To overcome my weakness wholly,
The sound of silence cleared my sight
To perceive the sunny side of life solely.

Sometimes they break your heart
Sometimes in life they say terrible things
and the friendship falls apart

Sometimes in life it is necessary to forgive
though it may not have happened yet

Sometimes in life we go our own way
because we can forgive but not forget

Sometimes the soul is in need of healing
So we pray to God above

Today I pray for all of my friends
even the ones who show me no love ........

looking back down the road that you came by
and not knowing what awaits you around the bend
would you go on,
or would you retreat
if given the option to start your journey again
to turn back the hands of time
is a chance at which many would leap
losing everything gained over the years


but as for me; this life I would keep
with all of its ups and downs
and all the pain that it brings
all of the spices of life that I’ve been blessed to sample


I’ll keep the cards that I was dealt by fate
and risk it all because life is a gamble
I would not trade a single memory
for wealth, position, or fame
my spirit is quickened by the road and its call
I’ll travel this way until I can go no further

Cause this dreadful night shall come to pass
The dark curtain, surely will rise


Break the soil at the dry riverbed
Till in earnest from dawn to dusk
For time to plant tears are long gone
Undo the ill of our broken bond
Break the chain and never look back


Give back yourself - Your old self again
Embrace the gift - The gift of life
The smile - The laughter,
Sing with joy - Sing with pride

should's,
the must's,
the have-to's,
the have-nots,
the cannots,
the doubts
and the guilt.



It is allowing your thoughts to come forth -
without judgement.



It is allowing yourself to feel -
without judgement.



It is allowing yourself to do what you want -
without judgement.



It is allowing yourself to be who you are -
without judgement.



When you allow yourself to be,
You find
Peace, Freedom, Love and Joy
Within you.

this life is gift to you
chance it is not the first
dear, it is the last
so, live your present

Present is now and for short
memories are limitless and vast
as you will enter your thought
here your present will pass

I am not telling to forget what happened
I am not telling to leave the memories
but neither regret nor try them to recast
I mean don't be the prisoners of past

Everyday some incidents ends
and the new one starts
someone in some moments comes too close
and in the next they depart
Except it, its nature and forget the pain
neither surrender nor stop the life’s cart
no matter how you move it-slow or fast
but don’t be the prisoners of past.

I've seen them vanish at dawn.
But I've realized enough of my dreams thank the Lord,
To make me want to dream on.


I've prayed many prayers when no answer came,
Though I've waited patient and long,
But answers have come to enough of my prayers
To make me keep praying on.


I've trusted many a friend that failed,
And left me to weep alone,
But I've found enough of my friends that are really true,
That will make me keep trusting on.


I've sown many seeds that have fallen by the way,
For the birds to feed upon,
But I've held enough golden sheaves in my hand,
To make me keep sowing on.


I've drunk from the cup of disappointment and pain
I've gone many days without song,
But I've sipped enough nectar from the Roses of Life
To make me keep living on!

Allah Knows..... When you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts...

Allah knows how hard you have tried.

When you've cried so long and your heart is in anguish...
Allah has counted your tears.

If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by...
Allah is waiting with you.

When you're lonely and your friends are too busy even for a phone call...
Allah is by your side.

When you think you've tried everything and don't know where to turn...
Allah has a solution.

When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated...
Allah has the answer.

If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope...
Allah has whispered to you.

When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for....
Allah has blessed you.

When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe...
Allah has smiled upon you.

When you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow...
Allah has opened your eyes and called you by name.

Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing...
Allah Knows !!!!!!!!
