If I could turn back the hands of time
Make today better; make it fine
If I could turn back the pages of life
And rid it of all regrets and strife

If I had just taken that initial step
Maybe more to life were left

The meaning of life could've been more
If I did my best that trying day
'You came out on top' is what they'd say
But if I didn't conquer my fear
I had outweighed the wrong from right

If only I told you how dear you meant

As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

We often ask the question of ourselves

"What is this feeling that we call love?"

Is it true that we all have a soul mate

Predestined by God in Heaven above?

Does it show up when least expected

When across the room you see a smile?

Or does it grow at a snails pace,

Between friends, where it takes awhile?

Does it suddenly appear like a raging storm

Where thunder and lightening abound?

A storm over which you have no control.

Where peace and quiet can't be found?

Or is it more the gentle rain of spring,

And your whole world feels fresh and clean?

Can love flourish in those not so young,

Or just felt more strongly only as a teen?

There are times it's a roller coaster ride.

At least that is what I have been told.

With exciting peaks, frightening descents,

An encounter unnerving even to the bold.

Love can become an uncontrolled fire,

Burning deep within our very soul.

With passions wanting to be fulfilled,

Needing each other just to feel whole.

Love can also be gentle and soothing,

Full of kindness and heartfelt caring.

The touch of a hand brings peace with it.

And a life together fed daily by sharing.

Love should not hurt, but, best by far,

You are not only lovers, but, friends

Passion may simmer, romance absent,

The kind of love that lasts, never ends.

No turmoil, none of the ups and downs,

A life of contentment, peace above all.

Then, when something separates you,

Only happy memories will you recall.

Fire made me realize the importance
Of being pure and yet involving

Being BIG and yet unassuming

For nature had all virtues a man needs to learn

Have you ever cried without shedding a tear?
Have you felt the pain of another when they are near?
Have you cried when a new born baby arrives
And cried when you see that child as it thrives

Have you ever loved someone so much you cry?
Knowing that you will fail them no matter how you try
To keep the pain of harm, of loss, of love, of life
Turning it into joy and goodness, instead of strife

Have you felt the tears fall like raindrops as you smile?
Realizing that this is peace, glad you walked that mile...
Have you loved so hard, that it hurts deep inside
When what you need is a touch, or love that doesn't hide
It seems that there are days when the tears fall
No matter what is good, the sadness removes it all

Crying they say is good for so many things....is that true?
Good for the soul,
good to cleanse the hurt,
heal the blues

Lately life brings many tears, as the crying doesn't cease
The wars,
the famine,
the abuses,
neverending diseases
Loss of jobs,
being homeless,
addictions and dispair

Rarely do we see any happiness, only sadness in the air
I've felt the joys of motherhood, and captured all that love
Praying they would be safe and content as the white dove
Instead sometimes we fail, although it was not the intent
We do our best, still fail the test, tears can't fix the dents

Crying, crying, crying...seems that is what we do.....
The tears do not fix everything, they simply fail as glue

Although we try, the years go by,
We see through different eyes, no matter how I tried

Have you ever felt the tears as they drop like heavy rain
Thinking that soon, they will dry and there will be no pain

Have you ever cried so much that there are none left
Then realized that it doesn't really matter; it is all set

I have cried the tears of joy,
the tears of gladness,
the tears of sorrow,
the tears of forgiveness,
the tears of laughter,
the tears of anger,
the tears of grieving

I have cried a river, and filled every crack within my soul
yet, for some reason, I am certain, that there will be more
because no matter what life brings us,
tears come to shore

Of all the tears that I have shed, the one that means
the most to me..
is when I held my hands and asked
to be forgiven!

Have you ever found a friend that just touches you deep inside
You feel a special bond that you simply cannot hide
You give them a piece of your heart,
a view of what you are
Sometimes they live close to you,
sometimes they live too far.

It really doesn't matter, you were friends from the start
Soon you realize their memory is a piece of your heart
You feel like they're an angel, placed here just for you
You are always amazed at the sweet things that they do.

You don't have to see them or talk to them every day
To know that God has sent them in His own special way
How else could you explain,
this friendship and deep love
It must be an angel, sent from heaven above.

How can you love someone you've never really seen
The question you may ask, Is this just a dream?
Soon you realize, your feelings are quite sincere
Your friendship will continue year after year.

Funny when you talk you both seem to disagree
When you really look at it, you have to smile and say
The touching of our souls has taken place

Tonight as I said my prayers,
I prayed for my friend
I could not hardly wait until we talked once again
For God showed me the answer,
it was really quite simple
A soul never sees a face,

The feeling of love one feels for another friend
The feeling of wanting to be with each other again
Is the inner joy, that God places there
The love one feels on top of heaven's stairs.

So.......
if you are lucky and you have found such a friend
Remember it is God, who lives deep within
It is God's wishes,

Not all in our trial here is meant to be glowing,

pain and sorrow are always unfolding.

It is not enough to identify their presence,

you must take them aside and absorb their existence.

Then not only will you know pain,

your insight will reflect it,

your nature will caress it,

your loving spirit will bless it.

Then all you have to do is understand it,

and accept it.

The last two commands may leave a scar inside your soul,

the price you will pay to reach your eternal goal.

Wisdom gained is the guiding hand,

that moves us toward

The eternal land.

but you fail

when nobody understands you
and you feel that you are isolated
from the world

when you want to help the needy
but find yourself unable to
because of some reasons

Sometimes the day comes
when you are hungry and have a few bucks
but you see the child laborers and buy food for them

Sometimes the day comes
when Mom comes up with one answer
and Father with another
and you have to make your own decision

Sometimes the day comes
when you see that some people ditch others
because of their selfishness

Sometimes the day comes
when you want to tell something to your parents
but find yourself unable to because
you think that they might get hurt or misunderstand you

Sometimes the day comes
when your friends drift apart
not because you were not able to understand them
but because they were not able to understand you

Sometimes the day comes
when you want to smile
but can't find a place to even weep

Sometimes the day comes
when your beloved can't understand your feelings
and leaves you alone
and you look down and feel ashamed or embarrassed

But sometimes the day comes
when you learn from all your failure and think
"Those who dare to fail greatly can achieve greatly."

Don't look down, look up.

You are one of the persons to whom GOD is closest
