We stand apart
The sea between us
The land under our feet
Is the Wall before us

We stand facing each other
Touching each others souls
With our eyes....

The air we breathe
The water we drink
The earth we stand on
Is one….
Yet we belong to different lands

Our bodies are the soil on which we stand
Between us, there is no wall
Our eyes flow like liquid gold
From one to the other

Longing has become a habit
Waiting its companion
the promised land
Is far ahead of us
Like a mirage we follow
Life, after life
Touching each others souls

It is not my daydream
Nor yours for that matter
When standing across barriers
Our cells open up
And merge
Our hearts came together
Speaking one voice

The language of love
Is ecstasy
Like iron burning in the furnace
Red hot
Cooled to steely strong
