when you left the other day..
you took a piece of me away..
now...I understand how lonely the sky must be..
when the stars disappear

and how happy the earth is..
when venus is near

how the plant dies..without her roots
and why farmers need sunlight to grow their fruit

for when you are away a day seems like a week
and only of you...
does my mouth allow me to speak..

sea without oceans..
rain would not exist..

and without you
my soul will remain hollow..
until I hear your voice and feel your tender kiss
